Ingogo Mills specialises in producing super and special maize meal and in contract milling.

Although not the largest, it is indeed the leading local mill. Located midway between Newcastle and Volksrust, near the town of Ingogo, the mill comfortably services its markets.

Ingogo Mills produces “Sutha Super”, a superior maize meal and brand leader and “Sutha Special”, for the market sector that prefers special maize meal.

Apart from producing quality products, our success can also be attributed to:

• Our focus on maintaining a strong brand presence and understanding customer preferences;
• Being close to our raw materials - within a 50km radius, enough maize is produced to meet the mill’s capacity;
• Having adequate on-site storage to save on transport costs (due to the symbiotic relationship between Ingogo and the adjacent ALS silo complex);
• Being close to our market - Newcastle, Madadeni and Osisweni areas are all within a 150km radius of Ingogo Mills. The mill is thus well-positioned to service the entire KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Mpumalanga.
